▲The Electronics Zone at Xining Market often likened to a treasure trove
Xining Market 1F is divided into two key areas: the Traditional Zone, known for its diverse range of dry goods and processed foods, and the Electronics Zone, specializing in audio equipment and electronic parts. Each year ahead of the Dragon Boat Festival, the Traditional Zone becomes a bustling hub of festive activity. A wide selection of zongzi-making ingredients — including shiitake mushrooms, dried shrimp, chestnuts, squid, and salted egg yolks — are quickly snapped up by loyal customers. Premium ingredients such as dried scallops and abalone are also readily available, giving shoppers the opportunity to discover trending zongzi flavors, attracting many housewives to buy more, while enjoying the joyful spirit of the season. The Electronics Zone, often likened to a treasure trove, offering all kinds of audio and intricate components, continues to attract audio enthusiasts and tech hobbyists. It also serves as a gathering spot where customers and shop owners exchange information and get unexpected gains. Xining Market is expected to be renovated and relocated next year. As part of the transition, the Electronics Zone on the first floor will gradually begin relocation sales in the second half of this year. Consumers, both regulars and newcomers, are welcome to take advantage of this opportunity to pick up the dream treasures!
